The location of The Charm is absolutely perfect, being just a few minutes walk from the beach, pier, and all the shops and restaurants you could desire. The room was light, bright, and comfortable. In the room was a kettle, and a good selection of tea and coffee, milk, bottled water. The Wi-Fi was better than at my home, and the TV was just like at home too, having lots of channels to choose from, including Netflix. Breakfast at The Charm was comparable to large 4 or 5-star hotels, with the choices being a cooked breakfast (veggie / non-veggie), continental (fruit, cereals, pastries, filled bagels), and excellent coffee. Both day and night staff were fantastic. Terell made me feel welcome and has a personable and professional attitude. I found myself quite cold at night and asked the night staff for a blanket. At the same time a guest needed an ambulance, but the night staff called my room to inform me of how long she'd be and not long afterwards brought me what I needed.

Fantastic hotel, with a warm welcome and exceptional friendly and hardworking staff. Breakfast was delicious with an excellent choice of hot and cold items and the poached eggs I requested were perfect. Would also recommend the Eggs Benedict that are available at the weekend. The hotel and room was very clean, the room was lovely with such a comfortable bed. Warm, cosy bathroom with lovely body/hair products. Superb location, close to the pier which is fantastic for the starling murmuration at dusk. Shops and restaurants to suit everyone and every budget and we can recommend the Greek and Indian restaurant a few minutes walk from the hotel, and The Mucky Duck pub.Just a wonderful place to stay and we would love to return someday (but a long way from Aberdeen 😔) Highly recommend this hotel. Have a very Happy Christmas and New Year

The breakfast was simply delicious. There was a wide range of choice and the fact that there was an all you can eat buffet meant that you would never go hungry. All the hot options for breakfast were cooked well. The breakfast room had a bright and inviting feel to it. The staff were exceptional. Their attention to service was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. Even though there were a quite a few guests staying, it never felt noisy. You only noticed other guests at breakfast time. The room was quiet and so was the rest of the hotel. The extras in the room were exemplary. There was an excellent choice of teas and coffee and the hotel weren't stingy on the milk. The bed was comfy and the towels were plush.

The room was beautiful and the bed was super comfortable and with the blackout curtains we slept like babies. The staff were the absolute best. Friendly, always smiling, helpful and very accommodating. They went above and beyond from day one. The team at The Charm are absolute 10 out of 10. Was dreading the Parking in Brighton, but the receptionist was so helpful pointing out the nearest places to park. We also came early and the staff made sure that our room was ready for us even before the standard check in time at no extra cost. The entire hotel is beautifully furnished and clean too. Will definitely be returning here on our next visit to Brighton.

The room was beautiful, with good facilities. Loved the addition of the vanity mirror that was handy. The staff were absolutely lovely from start to finish, and left us a very special birthday welcome which was so appreciated. Really comfy beds as well, and the AC meant there was no issue with the room being too hot in high summer. My expectations were definitely exceeded. Attentive night staff too, who reacted very promptly when we requested some more cups. We didn’t stay for breakfast as we are vegan and we’re not sure the options at time of booking, but had we, I’m pretty sure the staff would have gone out of their way to accommodate us.
